PAUL McCARTNEY AND WINGS; ‘RED ROSE SPEEDWAY’ - AN ORIGINAL 1973 UK STEREO EMI/APPLE VINYL LP IN MEGA RARE LAMINATED GATEFOLD SLEEVE – PCTC 251.
‘WINGS RED ROSE SPEEDWAY’ was released by EMI/APPLE Records UK on 4th May 1977, and was Paul’s fourth Solo Album, this one is cedited to Paul McCartney and Wings.
This original issue UK EMI/Apple Vinyl LP, contains 12 tracks which includes a Medley of songs on side two, and is on the Custom Black Label, with 'Mfd in UK', 'An Apple Record' and 'An EMI Recording' printed to both sides of the record labels, there is also the familiar Blue with Red Print, Red Rose Speedway Logo on both record labels.
Both Record labels are in Mint condition, beautiful record labels, showing no signs of play to the centre spindle holes.
The side 1 matrix YEX 903-4, and Side 2 matrix YEX 904-3.
Side 1 stampers: 1T and Side 2 stampers:2 RDH.
Both sides of the Vinyl Disc are in absolutely beautiful unmarked Mint condition, both vinyl surfaces are in flawless as new condition.
The album comes in its ORIGINAL White Made in England Paper Inner Record Bag, which is in Near Mint condition.
…And is protected in its beautiful original Issue heavy duty rare **LAMINATED** Gatefold Picture Sleeve, which incorporates a fine 12 page colour booklet, which is stapled to the centre of the gatefold sleeve. The book is still secure within the centre of the sleeve.
The outer laminated sleeve is in stunning Mint Minus condition, you will not see a better one. This is a firm undamaged sleeve that looks new, with the exception of a mild bump to the bottom right corner. The 12 page booklet is in Mint condition, no loose pages or tearing, and still securely attached with staples.
A stunning example of this original UK EMI/ Apple Wings album, with booklet and rare Laminated Gatefold sleeve, just superb.
