THE BEATLES, 'PLEASE PLEASE ME' – AN ORIGINAL 1963 FIRST ISSUE BLACK AND GOLD PARLOPHONE LABEL MONO VINYL LP- Cat No PMC 1202.
Please Please Me was the Beatles first UK album release, released on the 22nd March 1963. First issues of this album were released with the incorrect Dick James Publishing Information for side one tracks, I Saw Her Standing There and Misery, and side 2, Do You Want To Know A Secret There’s A Place. These errors were corrected on the second pressing of this album Parlophone Label.
Both Black and Gold Parlophone record labels are in superb Excellent condition, the gold text, and the Black background of the Parlophone labels are Very Clean, all that is visible are just very very few if NO signs of play around the centre spindle holes.
Matrix and Stamper information:
Side 1, XEX 421-1 N. and Side 2. XEX 422-1 N.
Side 1 stamped. 2 R D. and Side 2. 1 / 2 G M.
Both sides of the heavyweight LP are in superb Excellent condition, both vinyl surfaces are free from deep scratches and shows only a few surface hairlines and scuffs, the vinyl surfaces are not damaged by the light scuffs and plays as V-Good to Excellent condition.
