Description

The Beatles - PLEASE PLEASE ME

Vinyl EX-, Sleeve VG+  (minor age wear noticeable on rear of sleeve)

PMC 1202

1963 UK Mono. First pressing stampers but obviously not one of the March 1963 1st pressings as it does not have a Black & Gold Parlophone label. However, this label variant suggests it was pressed in the second half of 1963.

Matrix / Runout (side A):  XEX 421 - 1N  AM  2

Matrix / Runout (side B):  XEX 422 - 1N  OG 4

Original Emitex inner. Also includes a very rare 1963 EMI Parlophone 'Outstanding Records' catalogue insert which does not list the November 1963  'With The Beatles' album (see photos)

Parlophone classic black and yellow labels. The label rim states "The Parlophone Co." and the label mentions "Recording first published" but NOT "Sold in the UK".

Large "MONO" on front cover.

Aldon Music appears as Aldon Mus. on label.

Ambassador Music Ltd. appears as Ambassador Mus. Ltd. on label.

Printed By: Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd.

Embossed 'KT' tax code on side 1.
