One of many EPs used for label ID work in Bruce Spizer's 2011 Beatles For Sale On Parlophone Records (ISBN-13: 978-0-9832957-0-9). Page 366 & 367. My acknowledgement can be found on forward page iv.
The Beatles - Parlophone EP GEP-8891. MR2A(vii) (Spizer ID). This is the 7th label variant of 7 labels in the first batch of labels for S.I.U.K. (Sold In the UK). Sound = Excellent!
A superb quality collectible with a center knock out embossing of KT, and KT Tax codes. Side 1 Mother = 2, Stamps: GDA(103), Side 2 Mother = 1, Stamps A(3).
Stamps are derived from Gramophone LTD codes G=1, R=2, A=3, M=4, O=5, P=6, H=7, L=8, T=9, D=0.
The record disc is exceptionally clean, as are both side labels, with undisturbed center 45 hole knockout. Quality grading is VG++ to NM-. Sound quality is exceptional! Record jacket is MC-2A Garrod (second version) with the Robert Freeman (photographer) credit in VG++ to NM- condition!
