THE BEATLES - 'PLEASE, PLEASE ME'
This beautifully preserved & scarce late mono pressing of their debut album dates from the late-summer of 1969.
Lacking the 'Sold in UK...' text, this was the final pressing on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1202
Matrices: XEX 421-1N & XEX 422-2N
Stamper codes: 1,9/RHG & 6/GA
Vinyl weight: 143g
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback, 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with the small 'mono' front indicator.
Complete with original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.

A superb set with just a handful of light spindle trails around each centre hole.
Visual: MINT -
Immaculate deep-gloss playing surfaces which are unmarked and 'as new' both in in strong daylight AND directly beneath halogen light.
Audio: MINT
Played less than a handful of times on quality equipment, the sound quality is flawless & wonderful throughout.
Cover: MINT -
This fine example look like it left the shops last week, let alone 51 years ago! The front panel is clean & glossy with the only trace of wear being a couple of small wrinkles in the laminate towards the upper right corner.All of the corners themselves are completely unworn as are both opening edges. The rear panel is clean, white and blemish-free and all flipbacks are clean & in-place. Both seams and the fully worded spine are in perfect condition. Not many left like this.
