Description
Okay, first things first : this is not anywhere near a perfect copy of this album.
BUT
It is an original copy and despite it's many flaws it is worth a look, especially as I am putting this on for just £10.00 with no reserve.
Details : This is a 'Black And Gold' copy of The Beatles debut album. It features the Dick James credits (which were later changed to Northern songs). It has the Angus McBean credit on the bottom right of the cover and the Ernest J. Day credit on the rear (bottom right).

I have owned this since 1988 (or thereabouts) and despite the poor condition it is nice to say I own it - however it's time to sell as I need some £££.
CONDITION : The sleeve, as you can see, is poor. It is laminated but has significant amounts of tape along the top and bottom of both sides of the cover. It is clearly poor, but acceptable as a collection filler.
The disc looks trashed : covered in light scratches - BUT- audio wise it isn't too bad. Only one jump on 'I Saw Her Standing There' and that is it. Sure, it crackles throughout, but the music comes through loud and clear, the crackles are 'under' the music if that makes sense. Sounds like a loud cut. Some pops on the fade of 'Boys', one pop during 'Ask Me Why' and heavier crackles during the very start of 'Do You want To Know A Secret' - otherwise, despite the crackle it is an enjoyable listen.
You can actually play this record, maybe have it professionally cleaned too.
In reality it still rates as Poor, but I have heard worse on far better looking records.
Any questions, just ask.
This is an ideal 'collection filler' until you find another in a charity shop for £1.00.
