Description

Complete & original heavyweight vinyl black & gold Parlophone label 1st UK pressing of ‘The Beatles - Please Please Me’

with GO/RM mother/stampers, one of the very earliest pressings .  This of course also has all the usual 1st pressing credit errors of the 1st label black & gold Parlophone label That incorrectly credited Dick James for the publishing rights on many tracks before the error was spotted and corrected for the 2nd black & gold press.

The sleeve is also a 1st press ‘Gold’ sleeve printed by Earnest J. Day Co. Ltd,

Matrix number: XEX 421-1N / XEX 422-1N

Stamper codes:  GO / RM

Clear scratches/marks that do cause noticeable crackle throughout, though is masked by the music for much of  the playback, so still a reasonable listen. I would would grade VG
