The Beatles Please Please Me Black & Gold Labels 1963 Northern Songs. First pressing 2nd issue with the much rarer 'Northern Songs' credits (25,000 of the 'Dick James' version printed - only 12,500 of the 'Northern Songs' version printed). Super copy of this very rare and iconic debut album by The Beatles. The vinyl plays all the way through perfectly with no sticks or jumps and sounds just great! Has some light scratches as you can see in the photos and some audible ticks but the buyer will not be disappointed with the condition of this album which i grade as VG if not VG+! Obviously the matrices are XEX 421 1N and XEX 422 1N. The correct original Ernest J. Day & Co sleeve has bright vivid colour and the back is surprisingly white and relatively clean for a non-laminated piece of 57 year old cardboard! The sleeve does have age related wear and 6" of the flip back bottom left has become separated and shows signs of a previous repair (see pic 10) but is otherwise intact. The spine is good. The Emitex inner is in VG condition with no splits. Altogether a very good copy which - as a big Beatles fan has been a pleasure for me to own. 0.99p start - no reserve - no 'buy it now' price - auction will run to the end - thanks for looking and good luck.

There are lots of scratches and scuffs which don't show up well in the pictures but the album plays great anyway. Any questions don't hesitate to ask.
On 02-Nov-20 at 21:40:38 GMT, seller added the following information:Six inches of the bottom left flipback has become separate from the rear of the cover - the flipback and the part of the cover to which it is attached hang off if it's not in the plastic cover - really needs repairing but i don't want to mess with it.
