Description

The Beatles - Please Please Me

 

This is the first pressing and has the black and gold label, the record number is PMC 1202

 

This record is 45 years old and was the first record I ever bought, rather was bought for me by my uncle from Alfred Headlam's Record shop in Whitby, North Yorkshire.

I did play the record a few times but haven't really bothered with it since, it's been hidden away in my private collection until now.

The record label and hole are remarkable, there is hardly any wear on either side, it is still very new looking. Please see the pictures. The sleeve has had a repair along the bottom and there is wear in the corner of the spine, please see the pictures.

As for the vinyl there are some light surface marks and one particular scratch which is about half inch in length. This is on the last track of side one (Please Please Me) this causes a very slight glimmer which can only just be heard but you do really have to listen for it to hear it. Other than this the record plays fine with no jumps or clicks and no warping.
