I have decided to sell a large number of my duplicate Beatles/Solo singles/EP's all in nice condition, please check my other auctions.

Please Please Me - Gold Label Mono - First Pressing - PMC 1202 - Northern Songs/Dick James Credits Crossover Labels

Condition

The sleeve is in very good condition overall. The front is very clean and has some light creasing. The rear is also very clean and has some minor creasing. The top part of the sleeve is coming away but could no doubt be glued down if desired. Both sides are free from writing. Would Grade as VG+

The Emitex inner is also in very good shape. Would Grade as VG+

The vinyl has many sleeve removal marks and a few scuffs under bright halogen light. No feelable scratches. Would Grade as VG-

The labels appear to be free of any discernable spindle marks. Would Grade as EX+

The Matrix Numbers are Side 1 - XEX 421-1N with stampers RR & 2

Side 2 - XEX 422-1N with stampers RR

This appears to be a crossover pressing with the labels on side one crediting the new "Northern Songs" whilst those on side two still list "Dick James"

Please note that I grade under halogen light which is extremely unforgiving! I do this as I have been left disappointed in the past by people who grade in daylight or under a lightbulb where even the worst vinyl can look mint!
