Vinyl Visual Grade: Fair (Looks very well played on both sides with lots of light superficial surface marks, there are also 8 or 9 or so raised feelable scratches on the record which do affect play slightly by causing some of the jumps detailed above and some of the light pops and clicks (also mentioned above), there is also some light scuffing to the records surface, quite a lot of spindle marks on the label, no major tears to the labels though, there is some wear around the spindle hole on side 1 and 2, the record is not warped in any way though, it is flat.)

Album Cover Grade: Fair (THIS SLEEVE HAS NOT BEEN SWAPPED AND IT IS THE ORIGINAL BLACK AND GOLD SLEEVE WITH THE photo credit OF Angus McBean ON THE bottom right of THE front cover to the extreme right VERY CLOSE TO THE SLEEVE OPENING. i nEVER SWAP SLEEVES AS I WANT THE SLEEVE AND THE RECORD TO REMAIN 100% AUTHENTIC.)  (corner creasing to the front corners, corner creasing to the rear corners, the sleeve has a spine split bang on the centre of the spine which is about 10cm in length, this means the title on the spine is no longer legible, the top edge has a 4 cm split on on the sleeve opening where someone has tried to force the record back in, the bottom edge also had a large split of about 18cm but this has been repaired from the inside so you can no longer tell and the split is no longer visible, you can still see the  rubbing/wear along the bottom edge but it has been repaired to a high standard, there is also a bit of rubbing rear to the top edge and spine but nothing major apart from the splits mentioned previous, a bit of corner rubbing, some ringwear on the front but it is more noticeable on the back on the unlaminated rear, there is some small pen marks/writing on the sleeve on the rear top top left with the words 'grant la chance alamo' and a slight squiggle wrote in blue biro, the rear sleeve has discolouration and staining on the unlaminated rear and also some cellotape residue just above the bottom flipback lip, the record also has 3 tiny 1cm tears on the sleeve opening, no serious lamintate lifting or peeling.

Record Collector 2008 Price Guide Book Price: £600 Mint

All records are graded in complete honesty and with the utmost scrutiny. All records listed have been playtested by me and the date has been detailed above. I have been collecting records now for approximately 12 years and have amassed quite a collection and have decided now is the time to reduce the collection in size. The quality of items listed generally varies but most of the time will be in Excellent condition or thereabouts. If it higher or lower than Excellent then it will be mentioned in full detail in the grading section above. Most of the records that will be listed will be from the 1950's, 1960's and early 1970s. The genre's will vary from prog rock, soul, reggae, rock n roll, beat, pop, psych. I will not be offering any classical records for sale though. I have some huge rarities in my collection and all will be up for sale at some point in the next year or so. Please be confident when buying from me as i have many positive feedback comments left for me and I have been trading on ebay for over 3 years. If you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to ask. Please also click on 'View seller's other items' on the right hand side of the page to see what i have on offer. All the pictures you see in the listings are taken with my own digital camera and my scanner. They will be 100% representitive of what you will be purchasing from me. Good Luck !

All auction start prices will reflect the condition and rarity of the album and its current rough value in the current marketplace.

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD

The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR

The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR

The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD

The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
