Description
The Beatles first album on the old style Parlophone Black and Gold label in mono.
This is a first batch record denoted by the Dick James Publishing credit on the labels (later replaced by Northern Songs on the second batch) and the sleeve photo credit "Angus McBean" on the lower right hand corner at the sleeve edge (it was moved in a little on later releases).
I have not played the record prior to listing. There are only a very few surface scratches on the playing surface. You can see the condition of the labels from the photographs.

You can see the sleeve condition from the photos. All 4 corners on both sides are covered. Of note on the cons side is a small piece of the turnover flap missing from the top right corner and the initials "PD 63" near the bottom left of the rear cover.
The inner sleeve is in very good condition.
It is difficult to describe a rare record of this age accurately and I know some collectors are forensic when it comes to condition. You are welcome to call and inspect the record in person. I cannot play it as I have sold off my analogue hi-fi system.
I will post Royal Mail signed for with appropriate insurance in a high quality thick card posting envelope.
