The Beatles - Please Please Me LP vinyl UK mono 1963 yellow/black. Condition is Used. Dispatched with Royal Mail Signed For® 2nd Class.
This album was bought by my dad for my mum when it was released. I believe it is the 3rd Mono edition, based on a bit of research through Discogs: “3rd Pressing (Type A), Summer 1963
This version is the rare third Mono pressing with the small 33? at 9 o’clock. Label perimeter text begins with 'THE PARLOPHONE CO LTD'
No 'SOLD IN UK' statement on labels. Northern Songs credit on A1, A2,B4 & B6. Dick James credit on A6 & A7.
I could be wrong so please have a look at the pictures and make your own mind up. The record has a number of surface scratches though nothing that should affect play. I don’t own a record player so my grading of it is a visual one only. The cover has been well photographed and as you will see, there are a few dog-eared corners and some creases. On the plus side, it is still very much in one piece and the colours are still pretty strong.
The starting price reflects the condition but that doesn’t take away the fact that this is still a very rare record that is well over 50 years old.
