The Beatles Please Please Me Lp UK 4th Press Mono [Ex/Vg+] CRACKER "ZKT"

	£		50
	$		66

Description

An original 4th Press on UK Parlophone. Matrix 1N/1N. From early summer '63 as Beatlemania was reaching peak. Note the 'Parlophone' perimeter text and 'recording 1st pub' till exhibiting. No 'sold in uk'...so this is a proper 4th. Tax code "ZKT". Let me tell you very few Beatles records come with a "Z" in the taxcode - except for the really expensive ones! The early copies are heavy pressed and sound fab. The vinyl comes housed in an original mono cover. We also have an original Emitex inner from the time too . So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In super condition and clearly has only seen light use. Great lustre. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing troublesome. For the vintage- absolutely superb. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. A consistently great playing copy...from '63. Good low level detail and this is deffo THE way to hear this classic LP. Why risk a 50/50 copy? What I can guarantee is you a superb audio rendition. Don't under estimate how impressive that is from 63. Playing clean throughout into the quieter numbers. At worst slight touch of presence in one isolated spot per side. A cracker for sure!
Cover (Vg+) A clean unaged cover and don't underestimate how difficult it is to find the '63 copies with a clean rear!. Really clean surfaces and lovely front image. The rear seems to have avoid most of the usual ageing process - very nice. Record shop stamp at the top and a neat signature. Just some wear on the flips, but intact. In fact, I can actually improve that bottom flip a bit - so perfectly acceptable. Nice firm openings. Slight edge wear and 85% intact spine. Overall the over retains excellent rigidity. Super specimen.
Inner (Ex-) Light ageing. No splits.
