Description

From my mum’s teenage record collection, stored in a box in the loft and unplayed for 40+ years
Cover has a few handling/storage marks and a tiny tear on the rear edge
Sleeve has the usual marks and imprints
Disc itself is mint and doesn’t look to have been played hardly at all.
All-important XEX 447-1N XEX 448-1N imprint, cover printed by Ernest J Day in 1963, yellow on black Parlophone “£” logo label with silver text and the "The Parlophone Co. Ltd..." text.
Please Please Me is credited to Dick James, so this looks to be a 1st/2nd pressing overlap perhaps?
You would have to conduct your own research on this to determine the exact details.
I don’t have a deck to play it on so can’t test it myself but close inspection shows the playing surface to be clean, bright, unscratched and flat as it should be.
Will be posted in dedicated LP packaging signed for service.
