The Beatles Please Please Me Mono One EMI box PMC 1202 - very rare
The Beatles very last original 60's Mono "Please Please Me" LP was on this label. If you're looking at this then you have seen it's bigger brother (Help!) in my other listing.
This has the same history and is still quite as difficult to obtain. Again pushing 1500+ for a decent one nowadays, these are simply very thin on the ground as so few were actually pressed. Who at the time (1969) would want to specially order a Mono album of the Beatles' first album when Abbey rd and The White Lp were out? If anything it would be Stereo as they were then the standard.
Hence the price I suppose.
This one looks to have issues, but is actually not that bad. Really nice sound to it and it is whisper quiet betwwen tracks, it obviously hasn't been played more than 10 or so times, it's just a shame side two has a few light sleeve removal marks and a light skate across three tracks which surprisingly plays with only one light click just after A Taste of Honey other wise totally silent between the tracks still!
I only ever managed to find 2 of these and my NM one is on here:

Stampers are 1,5 RLA / 6 RM (same as my other one) as was pressed for one small run only.
I shall also list Sgt. Pepper on a one EMI box mono label to make the set available to anyone ones interested.
Please bid with confidence and please see my other listings past and present. Thanks

Shipping by FedEx Insured, Tracked Intl Priority when available.
I accept returns for all things except where stated clearly. Thank you
I am and have always considered myself a Beatlefreak and collector. I am not a dealer, but have many treasures I've collected over the years that I have now decided to part with.
