Description
Please Please Me
Original UK Mono LP
Record: VERY GOOD+
The record is in very nice condition with a nice sheen, some mild marks and a couple very light scratches. It plays very well with nice audio. This is an early 2N matrix pressing (on side 2), just before the ‘Sold in U.K.’ text was added on the labels, and together with the mid-size ‘mono’ logo on the sleeve would indicate this was pressed in early 1964.
Sleeve: GOOD+
The sleeve is still fairly decent front and back with a clear title on the spine, but has wear around the edges and on the corners including wearing through in parts of the top edge. Also about half of the bottom flipback is on the verge of coming away. This is a very scarce sleeve with the mid-size ‘mono’, which I believe was only produced for a short time for this record, around early 1964. The inner sleeve also has some moderate wear and creasing. Please see photos.
