Description

The Beatles - Please Please Me 
Parlophone PMC1202 Mono pressing on the final Silver/Black Parlophone label
Matrices/stampers: XEX421 -4-1-1 and XXE-XEX422 -3-1-1
This was the 1988 reissue which for the first time used the digital remasters used for the CD release. Until then, the record had been continuously available since 1963 using the Stereo mix - although the previous version had been through countless pressings they weren't actually reissues as they were just productions variants over time. 
The original Stereo version was (and is) somewhat inferior to the Mono version hence the reversion to that format for this and the other early Beatles albums when reissued on CD and vinyl.
The disc is Mint/Near Mint, in superb condition. The sleeve is EX, just some minor edge wear and a few edge creases but very clean and complete for a flimsy 80s card sleeve.
