Rare Early Press Album Parlophone Record Label
UK Mono Pressing
This is a Rare UK Mono Press on the Parlophone Early Black & Gold Record Label ( PMC 1202 ) with the early XEX 421-1N XEX 422-1N Matrix numbers.
This is the rare pressing with the Dick James Music Credits and the small 33 1/3 next to the matrix numbers on the labels and the M.T stamper on side one.
The Mother Stampers are early side one 2 at 9 o'clock & GO at 3 o'clock and side two N at 9 o'clock & 1 at 3 o'clock.
The vinyl on this Album is in Good- condition visually, it is bright and vibrant does have quite a few surface scuffs and scratches. I have played the entire album and because these early presses had deep grooves it play great with no skips or jumps and some background. The worst looking scratch is across track 2/3 on side one but I am listening to that now and it plays through with no major issues. I would have to grade audio wise as Very Good +.
The Sleeve is in Very Good condition has a bit of storage rubbing and creasing to corners,edges and the bottom right hand corner on the rear has some minor damage.
The Labels are clear some age wear and side two has had a sticker removed at sometime which has caused some damage( see Pictures ).
