Description
Description:
For sale is a classic UK mono first/early pressing of The Beatles’ debut album “Please Please Me” on Parlophone PMC 1202.
This is the iconic 1963 release featuring their breakthrough hits including:
• I Saw Her Standing There
• Love Me Do
• Please Please Me
• Twist and Shout
Key Features:
• Mono pressing (PMC 1202)
• Black Parlophone labels with gold/yellow text (early pressing characteristics)
• Original laminated front cover with the famous Angus McBean photo
• Tracklist and liner notes on the back
• Comes with the original “Use Emitex” inner sleeve
• Vinyl is the full black 33⅓ RPM LP
Condition (graded conservatively):
• Cover: Good / VG (visible wear consistent with age — edge rubbing, some creasing, light ring wear, and surface scuffs/scratches on the laminate. No major splits or writing. Still displays very well.)
• Inner sleeve: VG — original but with expected handling wear
• Vinyl: VG / VG+ (light surface marks/scuffs from play and age; plays well with possible minor background noise typical of 60+ year old vinyl, but no major skips or deep gouges visible)
• Labels: Clean with minor spindle marks
