Description

Unbelievably early 1 P/1 G runouts!!! MT tax code present on side 2. 4th press (some still consider this a 3rd pressing) w/2nd print sleeve! The rarest variation of all “P.P.M.” Stereo versions! She’s a beautiful player (close enough to an “Audiophile’s dream”). There are just a few light marks to be seen on the record—gorgeous, almost “Like New” vinyl (visually “Excellent” condition with nice 4th print labels). Early “Great Britain” (Polythene-lined) “Emitex” inner is very nice w/no repairs—well preserved. The 2nd print sleeve shows very little wear to speak of—“Excellent”, & quite presentable. Only a few hundred of these “4th” crossover pressings exist—made during a very quick center-label layout transition, before 1964. This is for a true “Beatlemaniac”.
Further Information:4th pressing on the yellow/black Parlophone label. Following the yellow/black label “3rd pressing” (with the redundant small “33 & 1/3rd“ text—which was removed from the 4th pressing), and in between the fifth pressing (which features the “Recording First Published 1963” text on both sides of the record). The true 4th pressing’s label is with no small 33 & 1/3 text, and omits the “Recording First Published 1963” & the “Sold In The UK...” banner on both sides of the record.

*NOTE* The Sleeve for this issue has the large STEREO text—not the later 1964 medium and smaller text. The 4th pressing for this album can be found in either the original 1st print “Gold & Black” sleeve, or the 2nd print adjusted “Angus McBean” sleeve. This is the 2nd print sleeve!
