Description
I don't sell records for a living, if I do sell the odd vinyl, they are from my own collection. I am not really familiar with the sales jargon that professional sellers use, so please bear with me when I describe my items, I will be as accurate as possible. Please pay close attention to the photos supplied, they are part of the description.
The Beatles 'Please Please Me' PCS 3042, First pressing 1963 'Dick James Music'
The front cover is really nice, no damage and still crisp, the spine is excellent and so is the opening, no rips or tears, printed by Ernest J. Day & Co. The issue is the back, there is damage and card loss on the bottom, the previous owner's name written in biro and some discolouration.
The inner sleeve is the correct polythene 'made in England' / 'patent applied for' in excellent condition, without damage.
The black and gold labels are very good to near excellent on both sides, tax code ZMT YEX 94-1 / 1R YEX 95-1 / 1G
The vinyl plays through beautifully, no skips, jumps or loud pops, a subtle background noise in some places. The are several marks and scratches which appear to be surface only, but none of that takes away the solid sound coming from the record, in my eyes still a very good and enjoyable example of this iconic album.
Please get in touch in case I have forgotten anything or if you have further questions.
