Description
For auction today: VERY FIRST Australian mono pressing of their debut album. From 1963, with gold and black labels, in flipback sleeve.
Cat # PMCO 1202.
Label is the very first that is not only denoted by the gold printed text but also, has the extra line of credits at the bottom rim. Slightly later issue has only 1 line of credits.
Cover has light signs of wear to front and more to rear. Spine is a bit worn and title is obscured with some light damage. Worn seams. R/wear on rear.
There is a 6 cm tear to rear, lower area and a shorter tear to top area on rear also. See photo.
Pretty good compared to most I have seen for this fragile sleeve.
Disc has a long mark that goes across the top from about 10 o'clock to about
2 o'clock. I thought it was a scuff at first sight but it;s not. It;s some sort of thin line of hazing and not affect play as tested. It should have clicked twice per revolution if it was physical damage but it doesn;t.
There is general scuffs and marks and a few scratches throughout the disc but plays quite well overall. NOT trashed.
Graded: cover/disc = VG/VG-
