Description
Here we have an original 1st press copy of The Beatles Please Please Me.
PMC 1202 Mono.
Black & Gold label with Dick James credit.
Matrix No’s:
XEX 421 - 1N
XEX 422 -1N
Laminated flipback sleeve.
Condition: VG
The labels are clean and tidy to both sides. No notable spindle marking.
Surface of both sides have been photographed in natural daylight.
Hairlines to both sides with some more notable surface marks.
A light penetrating mark to track 1 side 1 & track 7 side 2.
This could potentially create some noise on another system but played through fine on ours.
Has some surface dust so would come up nice after a clean.
Sleeve: VG
Good straight sleeve.
Laminate in good order. A little lift on the crease (photographed) and a small triangle where the print has been damaged.
Some corner wear, spine is nice and readable.
Colours good!
Overall a good all round copy. A little ring wear, surface marking to rear and some areas of wear and lift on the flaps but all held together well and a sold sleeve overall.
As a whole a nice copy.
Some signs of use and age but a good playable record and a decent sleeve.
Any questions please just ask.
Will be sent 2nd signed for in a record mailer with stiffener.
Thanks for stopping by.
