Description

Please Please Me, Parlophone, PMC 1202, mono. 

The Beatles first official L.P. release. The mono version was issued 6 weeks before the stereo version. 

This first pressing has Ernest J.Day & Co. front laminated cover, with large “mono” on front.

The photo credit for the front cover: “Photo Angus McBean” is printed in the lower right corner; the text starts at the end of “s” in “songs”.

Both labels are black and gold and show very little signs of wear. Side 1 credits Dick James Mus. Co. on the last track 

Side 1 - XEX 421-1N

Side 2 - XEX 422 - 1N


The vinyl is in very good (VG+) condition with some light surface scratches, from normal use, this however does not affect playback. Both sides play with no jumps or 'pops'.

Sleeve has some corner and edge wear.


This will be shipped via Royal Mail Special Delivery, therefore it will be fully insured and tracked.

These are from my own collection and were originally bought for their intended purpose, to be listened to. I’m not a collector and I’m only parting with these due my current circumstances.
