The Beatles Please Please Me mono Vinyl, LP
4th pressing, summer 1963 – January 1964. Ernest J.Day & Co. front laminated flipback cover, with large “mono” on front. Black label with yellow logo and silver print. “The Parlophone Co. Ltd” printed at the start perimeter print and “Recording first published 1963” but NOT “Sold in the UK”. Tracing-paper-lined “Use Emitex” die-cut inner sleeve. With or without KT tax code embossed on the label center

Condition and details below:
The cover : Great clean readable spine, some light creasing on the front , not very noticeable, clean and shiny; fairly clean rear , just small signs of wear and handling and a lighjt , partial, ring stain in centre. Ernest J Day PMC 1202
The Inner: Included is the original use emitex but is a bit tatty, ripped down one side, creased and grubby. The LP is in another lined inner for protection
The vinyl and labels: 421-1N, 422-1N matrices, can't make out a tax code. Labels are clean, no writing or stickers , wear around centre hole and a few marks. Vinyl has very light surface marks here and there , the imoact on playback is minimal, see below and the clips and photos.
The Listening experience: There is a noticeable scratch towards the end of side 1 (see photos); this does cause 3/4 ticks just at the end of ask me why and in the run in to please please me. I detected another couple of clicks at the same point of Love Me Do. Then 2 more clicks between Taste of Honey and There's a place - - -Other than a bit of light crackle between some tracks that is it and it plays really well and is a good listen overall - watch and listen to the clip for a good idea of the sound quality - amazing for 61 years old!
