Description
This is a first pressing of the mono album Please Please Me by The Beatles on Parlophone Records
Ardmore and Beechwood LTD & Dick James Mus.Co credits
The labels retain a nice deep black with moderate spindle wear
Matrix numbers : XEX 421-1N, and XEX 422-1N
In the run off vinyl to side 1 appears stamping 1L, and side 2 is 1O
I have inspected very thoroughly and cannot find a tax code embossed or etched on either side
The disc is in very good condition both sides , visualy there are fine scratches and several scuffs, still fairly glossy, plays very well right through with occasional light hiss and click once in a while. For the most part sounds very good , just one skip on track one of side one.
The album cover is original to the disc as is the Emitex sleeve(patents applied for). The inner sleeve has become quite yellowed over time. Angus Mcbean photo credit and Ernest J Day & Co on the flip side.
The cover looks very clean and bright and maintains integral quality. The corners of the album cover have worn but hold well. There is a small indent above the word me and one just below it.
