During 1964 when the Beatles broke through in America, Capitol Records not only issued different albums in the US to those that were released in the UK, but also released albums in Canada via Capitol of Canada, that were different in turn to both those issued in the UK and the US.
The Capitol of Canada ‘Twist and Shout’ album is essentially the UK ‘Please Please Me’ album, with the addition of two extra tracks: From Me to You and She Loves You. To make way for these two tracks, I Saw Her Standing There and Misery (which are on Please Please Me) were not included.
Within the sleeve is the ‘Dairy Queen’ Beatles photograph that came with all first press copies.
The disc displays clean playing surfaces with no skips, jumps or stalls. Both labels are in excellent condition and are clean with no inscription marks.
