Description
A rare original (believed 2nd Press) of The Beatles 'REVOLVER' vinyl Mono LP Album. In excellent condition. Catalogue No. PMC 7009 Matrix Numbers:- Side 1 = XEX 605 - 2 Side 2 = XEX 606 - 2 This early issue 1966 album published on the Yellow,Silver and Black Parlophone label unusually has the Abbreviated - "Dr." instead of Doctor Robert (Side 2 Track 4) printed on the label and Garrod and Lofthouse laminated cover. This was later withdrawn as a Misprint.
Condition The vinyl is in very good condition. There are some very light surface marks on both sides but none of which affect playback which is virtually mint. Totally silent intro's/between tracks etc with no clicks, pops, crackles, or skips.There are some very light spindle marks aound the spindle hole on both labels. The Garrod and Lofthouse laminated sleeve is in very good condition. There are minor signs of wear and some discolouration around the edges from storage. There are no tears,splits or creases and the spine is undamaged, in one piece and readable. The Inner Sleeve is the original Plain white greaseproof paper type with "Patents Applied For" printed thereon together with MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN.There are no tears,splits or damage.
I am not a dealer and personally bought this LP brand new back in 1996. It has been well cared for and an excellent example of this rare and collectable Beatles album.
