I’ve gone into the vault (closet) and found more treasure (Beatles group and solo promo records) to bring out and auction off as I downsize my collection. I discovered additional duplicates of  Beatles and solo Promo vinyl, so please check my other auctions for MORE PROMO VINYL that may be of interest to you.

In this auction:

·       “HELTER SKELTER” by The Beatles

·       This is Capitol Records P-4274.

·       This is a PROMOTIONAL SINGLE with MONO on the A-side and STEREO on the B-side.

·       As you may know, 45 RPM PROMO RECORDS were released by record companies ONLY to the radio stations and DJs for airplay to promote the artist or new LP. They were not released to, sold to, or made available to the general public.

·       This record was issued in the Spring of 1976 to coincide with the made-for-TV movie “Helter Skelter”, about the Charles Manson murders in Los Angeles.

·       The labels state that the song is “from the LP ‘The Beatles’ SWBO 101)” also known as ‘the White Album”.

·       RARE LABEL SPECIAL NOTE: This record is a VERY desirable collector’s item because it is the group’s ONLY CAPITOL SINGLE to list the artist on the labels simply as “BEATLES” instead of “THE BEATLES”.

·       The VINYL is NEAR MINT MINUS with just a few very slight surface hairlines/scuffs.

·       The CREAM-COLORED LABELS are CLEAN and BRIGHT!!!

·       It’s a VERY NICE BEATLES PROMO 45 RPM RECORD for YOUR vinyl collection!!!
