THE BEATLES - 'REEL MUSIC'
This was the final & arguably one of the most attractive, best sounding and underrated packages put together by EMI in March 1982 just before Apple retained full control of their catalogue. Cut by The Beatles original cutting engineer Harry Moss, it remained on catalogue for less than 2 years.
This exceptional 1st and only UK pressing dates from 1982 on the '2-EMI Box' Parlophone label: PCS 7218
Matrix numbers: PCS 7218 A-1 & PCS 7218 B-1
Harry Moss' initials 'HTM' appear etched into the side 1 run-out.
Disc weight: 112g
Housed in a unlaminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed complete with full-colour 12-page booklet & heavy card printed inner-sleeve.
Disc: NEAR MINT
Both playing surfaces are clean & glossy with just a few harmless wispy paper marks and a sparkling rainbow shine beneath halogen light. The sound quality throughout is flawless.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
A fine clean & strong example with minimal storagewear and nice sharp corners.Both seams and the spine are unstressed and unworn.
Inner: EXCELLENT +
Light disc impression but no seam splits.
