Up for grabs here is a really nice sounding early pressing of the Beatles 'coming of age' classic Revolver released on the Parlophone/Emi label in 1966.This edition up for auction is the rich deep sound of the MONO mix Cat No- PMC 7009 Matrices xex 606-2 and xex 605-2.I have just playtested the lp and it sounds fantastic!!There are a few light surface marks on the lp especially on the last 2-3 tracks of side one,but these have no impact on playback enjoyment whatsoever!!There are barely any clicks (even low level ones) or any 'sound distortion' to speak off and the great music always shines through.The shiny sleeve is in very nice and respectable condition for its age.. i.e minor wear that is expected for any copy that hasnt been stored in a Swiss bank vault for 45 years!!There's no writing on the cover whatsoever and nothing that detracts from the iconic Klaus Voorman sleeve art.All in all this is a great chance to own a fantastic sounding classic rarity at a very reasonable start price.I'm sure the winning bidder will not be disappointed.Happy bidding! :)
