The Beatles Revolver 1968-69 Subsidiary of Capitol Stereo LP Still Sealed

I am selling several STILL SEALED BEATLES LPs from my collection. So, please check my other current auctions and upcoming auctions.

 In this auction: 

·       “REVOLVER” by the Beatles  

·       This LP is Capitol Records ST 2576.

·       This LP is a STEREO Pressing.

·       This LP is in MINT STILL SEALED CONDITION. It has a “designated promo” punch hole at the top right corner. There is a tiny push on the top right and bottom right corners. There is slight wear on the top right corner visible on the rear of the LP where a very small piece of shrink wrap is missing. A small portion of the white paper inner sleeve is sticking out of the opening visible on the rear of the LP.  

·       The shrink wrap has “breathe holes”. 

·       This LP was issued 1968-1969, because it has “Subsidiary of Capitol…” in the label rim printing.

·       How do I know this, since the LP is still sealed? I recall maybe 10 years I won a couple of sealed LPs from Perry Cox, and he had stated that they had green Capitol labels (1969-1971 issues). The shrink wrap was split about 5-6 inches in the middle of the opening with 2 pieces of clear tape at the top and bottom of the cut to avoid further splitting of the shrink wrap. I understand that this was done to spread the opening a bit, and with a small light, shine inside to see the label.

·       I followed the same procedure on this LP. I applied 2 pieces of clear tape about 3 inches from the top and bottom of the opening and slit the shrink wrap and white paper inner sleeve (because the paper inner sleeve did not have a die-cut center hole) at the middle of the opening. I used my IFM Optics Handheld HD Endoscope (with Color LCD Screen, Digital Borescope Inspection Camera with LED lights and 2.0 Megapixels Semi-Rigid Snake Camera) that I bought on Amazon, and I was able to see one of the labels (with a tiny mirror attached to the camera) and take a couple of photos with my cell phone (from the endoscopic screen) of the label which are included.

·       Because the camera is so small, it can only see several letters of words at a time. I looked for key words in the perimeter printing on the black labels with rainbow color bands. In the images you will see 2 fuzzy images of the printing “INC., A SUB” from the wording “CAPITOL RECORDS INC., A SUBSIDIARY” (reversed letters due to mirror being used) which confirms that this is a 1968-1969 pressing.

·       NO DAMAGE WAS DONE TO THIS LP’s VINYL or LABEL  using the Endoscope to see the label which identified its years of production. IT IS STILL A SEALED LP. 

·       According to Perry Cox, this LP, with COVER constructed of cardboard with front cover slick pasted on with the edges of the rear cover slick that wrap around to the edges of the front cover, is a 1960s cover. The cover has a “16” printed at the lower right corner of the rear cover which indicates that this LP was produced at Capitol’s Jacksonville, IL pressing plant. There is no doubt that the vinyl inside has the “0” symbol in the trail-off wax (the symbol for Capitol’s Jacksonville plant; however, I could not see this with my endoscopic camera, but it should be there (according to Cox).
