Daisy Records Ltd 🌼
Established 2005
The Beatles - Revolver UK 2nd Mono Press G+/VG+ with Ernest J. Day and Co Ltd Sleeve. Has the Dr Robert Missprint on both label and sleeve. This is the first pressing following the withdrawal of XEX 606-1.
Catalogue Number: PMC 7009
Matrix:
Side One: XEX 605-2
Side Two: XEX 606-2
Mothers/Stampers:
Side One: 5 TP
Side Two: 6 GG
Media (Play Tested): G+. This sits completely flat but it has surface marks on both sides (particularly side one), that are not feelable and do not greatly impact playback, except a crackle in the quietest parts, but they do not look as good as they sound. There are a couple of small jumps on Tomorrow Never Knows. The spindle holes are fairly clean with some wear and evidence of ink ‘touching up’ Low mothers/stampers as you would expect from this pressing, with this label. Has the Dr Robert Missprint.
Sleeve: VG+ Clean front and back and nice clean flip backs. The spine is very clean. Slight creasing in places along with small pieces of light laminate lift. Has a couple of foxing spots and age discolouration but is really nice. It is also the far rarer Ernest J. Day and Co Ltd Sleeve. Has the Dr Robert Missprint.
Inner Sleeve: VG+ Original Patents applied for inner sleeve. Supplied with brand new anti-static sleeve.
Your chance to own this amazing pressing with a truly great sleeve. Even if you have Revolver already, this pressing with the withdrawn RM11 mix of Tomorrow Never Knows is well worth it, not only for completion, but because it is very rare to have a completely different mix on an album. I will just say that this is a lovely, package for someone dipping their toes into first, rare pressings.
Please also study the photos as these make up the full description.
