Description
This is a VERY rare early 1st stereo press of The Beatles "Revolver." Please read. First of all, despite the mono "craze," 1st stereo pressings of Revolver are significantly rarer than 1st mono pressings. Second, this is an EXTREMELY early press that says "Dr. Robert" ON THE LABEL - not just on the jacket. I looked on eBay completed listings and couldn't find another single example of a 1st UK stereo press of Revolver with "Dr. Robert" on the label. Suffice it to say this version is quite uncommon.
Side 1: YEX 605-1, 1, AD
Side 2: YEX 606-1, 2, RP
Record condition: Graded Fair. There are scratches and significant signs of wear. There is also an edge warp that causes skipping on the first tracks of each side. To cut to the chase, this probably won't be your top playing copy; you are buying for the rarity of this variation.
Jacket condition: Graded VG. Very decent condition. A little ringwear evident on the rear. There is some white out on the interior of the jacket. The inner sleeve is not original.
