Description

For sale is a nice copy of the Beatles 1966 legendary album Revolver which was released on the Parlophone label.

This is a mono copy with the yellow and black parlophone label.

The cover was designed by Klaus Voorman and the cpver was printed by Garrod and Lofthouse

The matrix numbers are

Side 1: XEX 605 - 2

Side 2: XEX 606 - 3

The mother stampers are

Side 1: the left side has a G and the right side has GA0

Side 2: the left has a 1 and the right side has L0

The cover is in Excellent condition. The cover is very clean and well kept. There is some light rubbing to the corners and as the pictures show on both the bottom and top edge there is one little scuff to both edges. Both scuffs have the laminte attached still so could be restuck if felt necessary however these are only minor problems which have very little effect. The spine is lovely and the lettering is perfectly readable. There are only very few light creases noticeable from the front. The opening edge is still nice but where the laminate ends for the opening there is some discolouration but again this is not a problem. The back cover again is nice and sharp colours still.

The Record is in VG+ condition. Both sides have obviously been played as in the light there are light surface marks and paper scuffs from the paper sleeve. The record does play very well though. There is some background noise and abit of light crackling but no pops or jumps. If the record was cleaned it would maybe increase the sound quality even more. But even in this state the quality is superb.

The labels are EX with no stains or marks and appear clean and vibrant. There is some spindle marks around the centre whole on both sides but other than that the labels are lovely. The labels have the sold in the uk text
