The Beatles - Revolver Vinyl LP
1969 release for the one boxed EMI stereo label vinyl LP that followed the yellow and black label and preceded the two box EMI label
Catalogue Number PCS 7009 indicating Stereo pressing
Garrod and lofthouse sleeve with 3 flipbacks. The black matt rear is very clean and pretty unmarked and normally susceptible to marking. The front has no mono or stereo indicator on the top right hand corner although it does show the original price rage of 39 shillings and 11 pence (just shy of £2 in new money).
All corners are nice and sharp. Very tidy sleeve all in all though and much better than many. Spine has pinched ends. Graded as excellent.
Emi sepia advertising inner which is correct for the year of release. Someone has written in biro N 1623 top left.
Very Good condition.
The vinyl has matrixes YEX 605-1 for side 1 and YEX 606-1 for side 2 and the perimeter starts with “The Gramophone Co Ltd …..”. The vinyl is in solid excellent condition with a couple of minor wispy faint marks only, possibly caused by sleeve removal.
Really nice example of a record and sleeve over 50 years old.
