Description
The Beatles ? "Revolver" Parlophone ? TA-PMC 7009 UK 1st issue. Mono Reel-To-Reel tape , 3 ¾ ips, housed in a paper box.
The tape appears to be in good condition but has not been play-tested. It is housed in its original cardboard box, which shows minimal signs of wear and is in great shape intact and completely legible - no rips or writing. The box contains the original packing slip.
"Revolver" is the Beatles' seventh studio album. Released on 5 August 1966, it was the Beatles' final recording project before their retirement as live performers, and marked a progression on their 1965 release "Rubber Soul" in terms of the group's readiness to experiment in the recording studio. The album's diverse sounds include tape loops and backwards recordings on the psychedelic "Tomorrow Never Knows", a classical string octet on "Eleanor Rigby", and Indian-music backing on "Love You To".
