Second pressing, 1966 until 1969. The Second “standard” pressing of REVOLVER has the same labels as the first pressing, but other matrix numbers: Side 1: XEX 605-2; Side 2: XEX 606--3.
This is your chance to bid on a mono version of what is arguably the greatest album of all time. The version for sale here displays the incorrect DR. ROBERT spelling on side 2. The credits pattern of “Song (Composer)-Lead Singer” has also now switched to “Song-Lead Singer (Composer)”. This probably appeared in late 1966.
Track B4 is printed "Dr. Robert" on both the sleeve, and label.
The front cover is laminated with a flip-back sleeve.

Mono Revolver is significantly rarer than stereo, and remains one of the most sought-after Beatles albums among collectors.
VINYL: The vinyl is in great condition. As one would expect, there are some surface marks, but it sounds fantastic in the mono format, which is how The Beatles wanted you to hear it. THERE IS A JUMP on track two ELEANOR RIGBY in the second verse as Paul sings "Father McKenzie". This particular mark on the vinyl is very small and hardly visible, but it does cause a jump. Apart from this it plays through, and sounds great. The label shows some spindle marks.
COVER: The cover is in excellent condition. There is minor edge and corner wear. There is a small area where the laminate has lifted on the front cover at the top, in George's hair. The laminate on the flip-back on the rear bottom right cover has become detached (see photos). There are some creases noticeable on the left-hand side of the front cover. There is some ring wear noticeable on the rear sleeve, as this is unlaminated and black in colour. Slight signs of aging on the flip-backs. It is a Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve "Patents pending".
INNER SLEEVE: The record is housed in the original plain white sleeve which replaced the EMITEX tissue paper sleeve in 1966.
