Description
Please read carefully before considering your purchase. At worst I'd consider this is a nice early copy of the classic Revolver album. At best it could turn out to be a real find. Cover is in good condition for age. Vinyl has multiple marks, minor scratches etc as you'd anticipate for most vinyl this old. That said other than crackles and clicks (particularly on first tracks of side one) it plays back fine with no jumps and still sounds great.
Now the fun bit. I've started dabbling in vinyl and bought this thinking it was an XEX-1 copy, which is what it was sold as. Transpires it is not but after exchanges believe seller made a genuine mistake and certainly the first time i saw it I thought it was too. Under closer scrutiny however, it def isn't. So what is it? Now the real fun bit.
This is a PMC7009 Mono copy. Ernest J. Day print. Uncorrected Doctor Robert on the label. KT tax stamp. The matrix numbers are as follows:- Side 1 = YEX 605-1 with Side 2 XEX 606-2
And I'm stumped. I cannot find such a version on the bible that is Discogs?! Adding to my confusion is that I believe the Y prefix denotes stereo whilst an X is mono?
Grab what could be something unique. If anyone can shed any light please let me know. Any questions please ask. Please only consider purchase after considering this detail.

Fair's fair, having received a bid, I can't now relist or retract the listing but from offers and feedback I've had from those clearly wiser than me , it would appear this is very likely to be an oddball and as such even scarcer than the 11 track withdrawn version. I can't obviously guarantee that but intimation is that so infrequent it doesn't even get an individual detailing on Discogs .
I guess if you know what you're looking for you'll bid . If not , no drama.
