Description
Good day to you and welcome to my auction
In this auction lot you are offered the excellent chance to add a very sort after Vinyl Lp / Album / Record to your collection
The Beatles - Rubber Soul on the Parlophone label, 1st pressing mono version, published 1965, PMC1267.
This is a Rare original 1st press copy, this is a UK issue with 14 tracks (rather than only 12 on the US released version)
This copy includes the tracks "Drive My Car" / "Nowhere Man" / "What Goes On" and "If I Needed Someone" which were not present on the US version.
This is what was known as a "Loud Cut" pressing with the runout matrix's of XEX 579 - 1 on side 1 and XEX 580 - 1 on side 2.
These matrixes were only present on the very early 1st pressings of this title.
The Vinyl is in a very good condition (some may say mint- i would prefer excellent +), still glossy, only a few wispey lines from sleeve use.
Both labels are very good condition, a few light spindle marks, "SOLD IN THE UK" clearly printed.
The original "Mono" Cover / Sleeve is in a good condition, spine is easily read, only down side is that the edging at lower right has come away a little.
EMITEX inner sleeve is in a good condition, no rips or tears, some creasing to corners from general use.
May have been played a little but only a handfull of times i would say, Both sides are good, labels bright and intact.
Matrix numbers are:
Side #1; XEX 579 - 1
Side #2; XEX 580 - 1
Vinyl condition: Excellent+
Cover condition: Vg
Inner sleeve: Present Vg
