Description
I am selling some of my personal vinyl collection. Most of these records were purchased by me new in the 1970’s/80’s and have been extremely well looked after, having only been played a handful of times on a Linn Sondek turntable with a light stylus tracking force of 1.5g.
Unless stated otherwise, the vinyl can be considered as mint and shiny with no marks – basically as new. The covers vary in condition but most are excellent just showing the usual signs of storage – slight scuffing, etc.
This album is The Beatles classic "Rubber Soul" on EMI Parlophone PCS 3075.
Matrix (dead wax) marks YEX 178-3/YEX 179-3.
Vinyl condition is near mint I would say, it looks barely played. Lovely heavy thick vinyl, unlike later pressings. Test played superbly on my Rega RP6 turntable with great dynamic sound and minimal background noise. This is an early copy I sorted away and never really played, hence the superb condition. Very difficult to find early copies in this fine condition. .
Original Garrod & Lofthouse laminated cover condition is very good as it has been stored in a plastic liner, just some minor marking and edge wear.
Probably hard to find a better playing copy.
