Description
A 3rd UK Pressing on Parlophone. Matrix 5/5. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Ernest J Day cover.
Cover (Ex-) Has been well cared for and only exhibits some light handling wear. On the rear there's a touch of fading and a signature toward the top. Edge wear is light and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Vinyl (Vg+/Vg) Remains in very good playable condition despite moderate use. Under close inspection there are a few marks particularly on side 2 - as detailed below. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a near excellent level of playback with one significant deviation. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with really good clarity for the most part. Interference is on the whole very light, but there are three scratches that cause issue across the final three tracks. It manifests itself as a bit of crackle and a cyclical whooshing through much of tracks 5 & 6 [S2]. So, please do bear in mind that, in our opinion, tracks 5 & 6 on side 2 are quite impaired.
