I purchased this album in the secondary market advertised as excellent vinyl and following my own appraisal I agree with this. Following a light cleaning I played the album through the Grado’s and the sound was well within the excellent category. The vinyl did have some light surface marks, including what I am 99% certain are two errant needle drops (you won't see these marks unless you looking under bright lights and moving the album at slightly different angles) one Side 1 and while there were some light surface marks on Side Two I saw no stylus etchings. I did hear a couple of noises out of place on (more on Side 1, and on Side 2 I only heard something during 'Run For Your Life') however it was certainly nothing that took away from the overall cut of this album and this having been said numerically I am scoring the vinyl a 85, a solid B. I am also scoring the cover an 85. The is some light wear in the corners including a 1mm crease on the top right corner and nominal wear in the other corners. While there are no splits in the seams there is a fair amount of rub wear on the top seam and (I can't figure out how or why this is unless the album was stored upside down) less on the bottom seam. I also found a 1mm crease running from the spine (George is looking right at it, you'll see). This having been said, overall the cover really is in excellent condition. Regarding shipping the album is shipped within cardboard but with the vinyl outside of the jacket inside of a Whiplash record mailer.
