Overall Description
A really nice copy of the withdrawn Rubber Soul Loud Cut pressing!!
These were the very very first pressings of Rubber Soul and only appeared on mono, they were quickly replaced with different matrix for the rest of the long run of the record!
The sleeve is the 1st press front laminated flip back printed by Ernst J day Ltd!

Outer Sleeve
The laminated front is in really nice condition, with only some mild creasing to mention! All the colours are still as vibrant as they were on the day of pressing! The rear is also really clean, with only some mild discolouring to mention. There is a little shelf wear to the edges and spines, and that’s about it! It’s a lovely flat copy with no writing, tears or stains. The spine is straight and readable! Very Good +
Labels
The 1st press labels are in great condition! There is no writing, stains or rips at all. Under a halogen bulb some spindle lines can be seen, but other than that they look splendid Excellent
Vinyl Visual
The record still has its wonderful shine and lustre as it had when pressed! It’s a heavy record as you would expect from a 1965 first press. Under a halogen bulb, hairlines can be seen and a few rubbings, but none that cause jumps or can be felt! Very Good
Vinyl Audio
Played the record through and it sounds really good! There were no skips, jumps or sticking at all. There was the occasional pop, but my cartridges are really sensitive, and a little static between tracks as is to be expected. . There was no sign of any warping at all! Excellent

So there we have it, a lovely withdrawn true original 1st UK press of a true masterpiece!!
