1969 UK 3rd press black & yellow Parlophone label mono vinyl LP with 'The Gramophone Co Ltd' & 'Sold in the UK.' label text, front laminated flipback picture sleeve by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd, PMC1267.

GRADING:

Cover - Excellent Minus

All seams and spine are intact.

Some light creasing on laminate sleeve from the spine and a couple of laminate nail marks.

Light wear at sleeve opening and sleeve opening bottom right hand corner. 

The lamintate is very clean and retains it's original colour.

The rear sleeve flipbacks are very clean and free from any glue overspill, a few light laminate creases on them.

There is minimal dirt picked up on the white rear sleeve.

Emitex inner sleeve has some creasing and fading. There is also some writing on it in the top right hand corner.

Record - Very Good Plus

Plays with some background noise in places and with the very occasional light pop.

A few scratches and scuffs are visible on the vinyl.

Labels are clean with a  few spindle marks.

Matrix numbers XEX 579-5 with stamper RM and XEX 580-5 with stamper DD.

The letter 'N' has been hand written next to the yellow £ sign on each side by the original owner.

Summary

A nice example of this album. The sleeve is a strong example and although the vinyl has a few faults it is still a good listenable copy.

Our grading is based on the system used by Record Collector magazine as described below (We don't sell records with a grading of less than very good).

Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
