The sound is Excellent all round (some very light crackle in between tracks and an odd pop, hardly detectable though )

All in all a fantastic listening experience

The sleeve is VG (slight tear on top)

The 'plastic bags' inner is VG+ (clean, slight tear one side )

The labels are EXCELLENT - no marks !

Visually....

Vinyl and label side one

- Label is KT, usage marks hardly noticeable- Excellent; Vinyl is clean - there are light scratches/hairlines - VG visually

Vinyl and label side two

- clean, no writing, - excellent;

vinyl, pretty much the same as side 1 with one more visible light scratch , this does not impact listening though - VG

Play grading - track by track

Opinion is divided but this is a 4/4 cut and is more often than not considered the best sounding version!

Drive my Car - great powerful opening, full on mono sound as it was meant to be heard. Some expected crackle in the runout, a solid Excellent -

Norwegian Wood - what a song, classic, and you will not be disappointed with this listen. Some crackle in the quiet bits , VG+ at least!

You won't see me - Awesome , great vocals, the bass comes across really well , slight crackle on fade out, but... Excellent!

Nowhere Man - great opening vocals and harmonies, really come across well. A little noise in background, have to strain to hear it though so, VG+

Think for Yourself - another belter...sound great , that Harrison guitar work is excellent and sounds great here still...Excellent -

The Word - the juxtaposition of this to the follow on Michelle is superb track planning...at the start there is some very light crackle. Then that piano and superb vocals and guitar kick in and your have just great listening pleasure all the way through - Excellent

Michelle - A great slow and quiet song, often this has lots of crackle and pop on old versions of this LP...some is apparent here , especially at run in, but oh so quiet, tres bien ensemble, a great ending to side one = VG+

Side 2: generally the scratches on this side create a bit more interference than side 1 has. No skips or sticks though and a VG+ listen overall….

What Goes on - Ringo sounds as good as ever, great opening twanging guitar comes across really well ... a little crackle...- VG+

Girl - bit if crackling on lead in , then….John Lennon dreamy vocals come across so well, love that mediterranean feel to the sound, deep bass, one of the best sounding tracks - Excellent!

I'm looking through you - some crackle leading into the opening acoustic guitar, then it gets going good and proper, superb = graded Excellent listen…

In My Life - one of the best Beatles songs ever! and this does not disappoint, great sounding harmonies which come across clear and brilliant, despite expected crackle at the start....and a slight pop during that wonderful Harpsichord! Despite that another VG+/Ex!

Wait - some slight clicks at the start , then…’Mr tambourine man' brings us into the driving beat of this cracker. Every note then sounds great, you can really pick up the super ‘4’ cut mix on this mono version - again the playback has to be rated as - VG+ , would be EX but for the clicks at start ….

If I needed someone - The usual bit of crackle and pop in the run in , once the jangling guitar begins though all you hear is another cracking fab four delivery, super McCartney bass...VG+

Run for your life - John Lennon at his vitriolic best with this vocal, and a great ending to a fantastic album. One of their best LPs and this final song will not disappoint in the reproduction here...some light crackle detected, however, A great listen,again….!

Summary - expected crackle mainly in run-ins/outs, some odd pops/clicks , no skips - a fantastic listen !

  The Cover & Inner 

The outer sleeve is still shiny on the front, a little wear on the top edge has caused a small split and there is some light cracking of laminate - VG

The spine is intact, one small mark - excellent

The rear has some light staining, the rest is clean and solid - VG+

The inner is poly-lined , one side rip, clean - VG
