Description
This is my original "Rubber Soul" album bought in 1965 - XEX 579-4/XEX580-4. MONO PMC 1267.
After some research, I am not sure if this is a later variation of the 'Loud Cut' 1st pressing during 1965 or if in fact it is a 2nd pressing - hence the ?. The typeset on the label is Times New Roman. In earlier 1st pressings the typeset was Sans Serif. It has the original tracing paper lined 'use emitex' inner sleeve. People who are expert at identifying these old records would probably have more knowledge. It certainly was bought by myself a very long time ago!!! If you have any comments or other ways of identifying things, please ask a question.
I have not played this album for approx. 50 years and it has been in storage. I cannot play vinyl anymore but on close inspection, the surface of the vinyl, on both sides, looks fine. It could probably do with a good clean!!! There are very few creases to the laminate on the cover which is in remarkably good condition!
