Description
The Beatles Rubber Soul Vinyl LP PMC1267 VG+ 1965 2nd Press Mono Serif Type. A Stunning Copy
The Second pressing of “Rubber Soul” has the “normal” cut matrixes XEX 579-4 / XEX 580-4 and has the matrix number printed on the label aligned or misaligned to the datestamp.
'KT' stamped on the centre label side A or B.
The mono covers of the 2nd pressing were manufactured by G & L or Ernest J. Day.
G & L sleeve has the words "TRADE MARK OF THE GRAMOPHONE CO. LTD." under the Parlophone logomark, but E. J. Day have not.
Inner sleeve: Tracing-rice-paper-lined “Use Emitex” die-cut sleeve.
There are at least two subtypes which feature differences in printing type in the song title and artist name.
1) One of them was printed in the "Roman" type.
2) The remainder were printed in the "Sans Serif" type.
Vinyl Condition is VG+ would say very close to excellent condition
Side 1 - Plays through perfect stunning copy
Side 2 - has a small mark on track one as seen in photos, this causing 3/4 small clicks but then plays through perfect
Sleeve Condition is VG+ has a small A sticker top left of the rear cover and ANN written in pen as seen in photos, otherwise I would say this cover is excellent/ near mint
Inner has a small rip starting to appear in one side and around a 2 inch split in the other side
