Description
Here is a SEALED copy of the Beatles LP "The Beatles (AKA The White Album)" on Apple Records (U.S.A.) SWBO-101 from the 70's(?).
Because it is totally sealed, it is difficult to know exactly which pressing this is and when it was issued. The "Beatles" on the front cover is not embossed and is printed. It is gray in color. So, it could be a later Apple pressing since Apple issued this LP from 1968- 1975. But it could also have a Capitol orange label or a purple label or even a Capitol black rainbow label. The cover seems to be posterboard. The shrink wrap has one breathe hole on each side of the cover. The shrink is tight all around the cover with no tears.
Note that there is a 3/8" "knick" in the spine right over the record number. I have attached a photo of that.
So, here is probably an almost 50 year old copy if the landmark Beatles "White Album" that is NOT remastered and which is the way the Beatles wanted it in pure analog sound!
